Linda MCCABE-SANKOW Obituary

MCCABE-SANKOW, Linda Linda McCabe-Sankow, 69, of Old Saybrook, CT passed away March 26, 2011 at Middlesex Hospice. She was born June 21, 1941 in New Britain to John Frances and Julia (Zablocki) McCabe. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John McCabe and Richard McCabe and one sister, her angel, Margaret McCabe. Linda is survived by three children; Joseph Sankow and his wife Ludmila of McMurray, PA., Paul Sankow of New London, and daughter, Kellianne Farnham and husband, Brian of Old Lyme. Linda is also survived by grandchildren; Katerina Sankow, Syndie-Rose Sankow, Shea Sankow, Mitchel Sankow, Riley Sankow, Noa Sankow and one brother, Patrick McCabe of Florida. Linda was a retired nurse who was devoted to Jesus Christ and her family. She grew up in New Britain, spent her summers in Indiantown, Old Saybrook and in 1983 moved to Old Saybrook permanently. Linda was a member of the Third Order of Mary and Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Essex where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday (March 29, 2011). Committal to follow on Wednesday (March 30) at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Britain. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Monday (March 28) at the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook.
