Lowell, I'm terribly sorry about your father. For some reason today I just randomly thought of you and Carlsbad, CA--maybe because of all the fires out west, but it made me think of my past childhood in CA--you may not even remember me, it was so long ago--but today out of curiousity I typed your name in Google and your fathers name came up..I remember meeting him briefly when we first moved to New York and spent the day with you; he was such a nice and fun guy--my prayers are with you and your family

Sue and all Lowell's Family,
We have just learned about your loss. Lowell was a good friend of mine for many years and I will always remember and cherish his friendship and the good times we had. We are grateful that we have known him and though we did not keep in touch through the years, this world will be missing a truly good person and so will we. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and for Lowell.

I am so pleased to see the outpouring of love for Lowell and that so many people could see him as the "sweet hearted" guy that he was, in spite of his Harley persona. I am sure no one who ever meet him will forget him. I know I won't! Have a great ride, Lowell.

Sue,
Its been so long since we've seen each other, I miss those days in Berlin. I guess you can say Im one of the lucky ones, I no longer work with HD. I put my 15yrs in and said that's enough. Now I have more time to spend with Victoria.
Know that I am feeling your pain right now..it brings me back to 3 years ago when I was in that same seat at the Funeral Parlor..Its not easy, I just got home and cant stop thinking of you and your kids. Hannah how cute and grown up she is.. our kids are the very close in age. The days ahead will be dificult, but just be straight with her, they understand more than you think. I remember when I brought Victoria to the cemetary the next day I explained to her that when you die and you go to heaven your buried in the ground first, and I pointed to where he was buried and said and that's where daddy is right there. we would go visit him there and have picnics there.I know it sounds weird but it was a way to get thru it,and I would feel better going there.
Susie, I so want you to know that I am here for you, you can call me anytime. I mean it. we can be there to for eachother. I mean it. If I dont hear from you in a few weeks I will call you to get together. we have some catching up to do. love ya like a sister, be strong. know that Lowell's legacy will live on in the kids. Hannah will have a special sparkle in her eye. and there will be another bright star in the sky. take care and I'll talk to you soon. Love Joann
