Lucien Cance Obituary
WINDSOR, CT - Lucien Cance, Sr., 95, passed away on Friday April 22, 2016. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and the President of Windsor Sanitation in Windsor, CT. Lucien is predeceased by his parents, Julien and Anita Candido Cance; his wife Ida Nusca Cance; and his two sisters and one brother. Lucien is survived by his children, Alessandro (the late Marsha) Cance, Lucien (Denise) Cance, Jr., Nanette Cance, and Aimee (Stuart) Allen; his 16 grandchildren; his 25 great-grandchildren; his 7 great-great granchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 28th from 7 to 9pm and on Friday April 29th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 30th at 11am at St. John the Baptist Church, 4987 State Route 81, Greenville, NY, followed by burial in the Medusa Cemetery. On behalf of President/Chief Administrator David Eustis and the entire Northwest Catholic High School community, I offer my very deepest sympathy on the passing of Lucien Cance, Sr.
Because his grandchildren, Ida Cance '08, Lucie Cance '11 and Lucien Cance '12, are treasured members of the NWC community, we feel that Lucien was, too, and we mourn his loss along with all who love him.
Please know that we will remember Lucien and the Cance family in a special way during our daily prayers this week and will pray for Lucien at our next school-wide Mass. We are so very sorry for your loss.
