Lucienne Michaud

1924 - 2018

On Wednesday, January 10, 2018, Lucienne Michaud, 93, was called to eternal life at Crestfield Rehabilitation Center in Manchester. Born in Madawaska, ME on June 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Adolf & Gertie (Marquis) Cyr. She lived most of her life in Hartford where she was a communicant of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Aside from her devotion to her family, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles, and playing the piano & organ. Left to honor and cherish her memory are her sons Fernand J. Michaud and his wife Jocelyne of Hartford, Ronald J. Michaud and his wife Diane of Wethersfield, her daughters Fernande F. Fowler and her husband George and Diane M. Davis and her husband William, all of Manchester, along with 9 grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Lucienne was predeceased by her beloved husband Lucien Michaud in 2007, and her siblings, Marie Daigle, Anne Cote, Eva Morin, Henri Cyr, Octave Cyr, Anna Roy, Lucien Cyr, and Yvette Pelletier. Her life and funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 16, at 9:00 AM from Fisette-Batzner Funeral Home, at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave, Newington, with a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church in Newington. Rites of Committal will follow the Mass at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford. Relatives and friends are welcome to call for visitation on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Fisette-Batzner.
