Lucille Longo Obituary

Lucille (Giannette) Longo, 97, passed away peacefully at Middlesex Hospital on October 31, 2022. She joins her beloved husband, Peter, who she said was waiting for her. Born and raised in Bloomfield, CT, she was the youngest of 6 children, and the last surviving Giannette. She married her sweetheart, Peter, and lived and loved for 66 years, traveling across the country, spending winters in Florida after his retirement, and being a great Mom, Aunt, Gram, and Gam Gam. She was a wonderful hostess for many holidays and birthdays with us and extended family. She was especially known for her chicken cutlets, apple pie and many, many, many other desserts. She leaves behind her daughters, Susan (John) Printup and Beth (Jim) O'Connell; her grandchildren (the lights of her life) George Ives, Caitlin O'Connell, Ashleigh Printup, and Kolin Printup, and truly the ones who made her the absolute happiest, her great grandchildren Hannah Ives, Sam Ives, and Saoirse Kehoe-Printup. She also leaves numerous Giannette nieces and nephews, and the last of the Longos, her nephew Chuck and his wife Betty Lou. Funeral services will be private with no calling hours.
