I have not seen Lucy in a long long time. Since moving away from Windsor Locks in 1977 I have visited her a few times, but I have very fond memories of her. She was like a Grandmother to us since our Grandparents lived in Pennsylvania. I loved her great italian cooking and I still use her meatball and sauce recipe to this day. Heaven is very lucky to have such a terific woman and cook. I can remember one time when Lucy hired me to paint her closets( I was about 13 years old). She was a wonderful person and I know she will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I enjoyed your mother on a daily basis while I was visiting my mother, Pauline Routhier. I had the opportunity to play cards, bingo and do crafts with her. She always had a smile and was very pleasant to be around. I will miss her smiling at me when I go to visit my mother. My thoughts will be with you during this difficult time.

Our sympathy goes to the entire Doering family. Our families knew each other when Joey and I were young boys in Windsor Locks. I have fond memories of Lucy always smiling, and we have one of Bill and Lucy's anniversary parties on our home video. Again, our sympathy to the entire family.
