What a wonderful person. I knew her when we were in Elementary and Jr. High. She was always very friendly with a good sense of humor. She made drawings of my parakeet biting her. She and Loretta are together in heaven. My sincere condolences.

I had the distinct honor and pleasure of working with Lydia at both South Side School and Chippens Hill Middle School. She and I conducted group counseling sessions with students and Lydia was always so kind and empathetic making every student feel comfortable regardless of what they were dealing with. Lydia was such an elegant and gracious soul who cared deeply for all her students. My sincere condolences to her husband and family. We have all lost a special person who made us better people by knowing her.

I am so sorry to hear of Lydia's passing. I have so many beautiful memories of attending Lithuanian School with her and Loretta, teenage years at folk dance practices, scout camps, and spending weekends at each other's homes. Lydia will forever be my childhood BF. My deepest sympathies to you Michael, Lydia's mom, and the entire Radikas family.

This is incredibly sad and depressing. I haven't seen Lydia in years but she would come up in my thoughts often and I remember the good times I had with her and Loretta. They will never know how much they meant to me. My sympathies to Michael and the Radikas family.

Lydia was beautiful inside and out - seeing her at her desk opposite my office door was always a lift, since she always smiled and waved a welcome- or popped her head in later if she couldnt talk in that moment. I am heartbroken to know the world is not graced by her presence any longer... To Mike , and Regina and her treasured nieces and all of her family my sincere condolences...

My deepest sympathy to Lydias family. I first met her at South Side School during my student teaching over 20 years ago. Lydia was always so comforting and supportive in everything she did. She was so proud of her heritage and dressed in her traditional Lithuanian clothing for our cultural festival. The kids loved her. Years later, I reconnected with her at Chippens Hill Middle School where her love of children and caring nature surrounded all who knew her. I was sad when Lydia left Chippens because she was a colleague who I looked up to. My heart breaks for her family.
