I had the distinct honor and pleasure of working with Lydia at both South Side School and Chippens Hill Middle School. She and I conducted group counseling sessions with students and Lydia was always so kind and empathetic making every student feel comfortable regardless of what they were dealing with. I am so sorry to hear of Lydia's passing. I have so many beautiful memories of attending Lithuanian School with her and Loretta, teenage years at folk dance practices, scout camps, and spending weekends at each other's homes.
