I suppose everyone has a favorite aunt, but Peg was more than that to me. This beautiful woman was someone I could always count on to help me no matter what. Her kind understanding and wise advice were invaluable. I love her dearly and will miss her incredibly. My sympathy goes out to Phil and their children, Peter, Joan, Christy, Dick and Judy and their families.

Aunt Peggy was such a huge part of my childhood and I'm so sad to hear of her passing. What a kind, warm, loving woman she was. She was like a grandmother to me and how we cousins loved to sit under the dining room table and play! I remember her house with the roll top desk, the toy furniture for our dolls, and the cookies that always seemed to be coming out of the oven just as we arrived (how did she DO that?). I'm sending my love and heartfelt prayers to all the LaFonds and those who loved her.

It has been said that 'you can't judge a book by its cover'. Well, in Peggy's case, this is just not true. She was a beautiful lady with a beautiful heart. We love her dearly and will miss her terribly. Steve and I have lots of wonderful memories of times we spent together with Peg. We know you will miss her even more.
