Maria Lugo you are truly missed, I always use to see you on your porch or working in your garden and always yelled at us when the basketball would hit your plants and thats what I always remembered about and that you always was a giver or helped people out when they needed it, your family and I miss you a lot I'm glad your in a better place because you would hate to see how the world is ending up so sprinkle a little bit of presence on us

Never gets easier this time of year. I still have not learned to deal with the fact that your physical is no longer here with us. It saddens me that you will never get to meet MAX. Losing you was tough and it is something I continue to deal with. You were more then just my GRANDMOTHER and that is what I miss the most. Our releationship was special and I will never forget that. For the past year I managed to pray and see you every week. You helped me accomplish my goals. Everybody is doing fine. Words can't express how much I miss you grandma. I am doing good and I know you are above guiding me. I completed my B.A. grandma and got accepted to SCSU for my M.S.W. I wish you were there to see your negrito cross the stage, we did it big grandma cookout and everything LOL. I know you were there grandma, Fundi told mommy she felt your presence and I also did too. She said that you were so proud of me, oh how I miss you grandma and pray everyday to hug and kiss you. I still think about you everyday and remember how much of a giving person you were. There's alot of people who miss you grandma; the northend is not the same without you....Mommy is doing fine, Joss and the baby are fine and as long as I am alive she will want for nothing.
I was scorned and full of hatred because you left me grandma and in that process I managed to push those who really cared and loved me away. Thanks to you, you made realize that at the end of the day that's all we have, those that love us and that I should be happy. You taught me so much grandma and and have made me the person I am today. Grandma, I went to Puerto Rico and had the opportunity to visit where you were from. You are truly a "MATRIARCH" grandma, everyone spoke so highly of you. This gave me a sense of happiness/pride because I could see the impact you've had on everyone. I am so proud to have you as my grandma.
Efrain is doing fine grandma, I promised him that I would visit every year. He really misses you and the family grandma.
Mommy and Lulo are doing fine. Jocelyn had a baby girl grandma, her name is "Madyson Nicole Richardson" and she is so BEAUTIFUL. I wish you were here to see her she has your nose and she is so big.
As for myself I'm doing wonderful. I am doing big things grandma, Me and Mari are in the process of making our first big purchase and I know we have your blessing grandma. I know you are looking over and protecting us making sure all goes well grandma. Everything I do is because of you grandma, you give me the will power to keep going when I feel like I can't.

She is resting and is looking down watching her children. She will be missed but she is now at rest.

There are no words to express the loss of someone very dear to you, your mother was a special lady she knew how to make people feel good and wanted. We all have something special in us and she had a good heart. And she knew how to make you feel wanted in her house she will also be in my heart.

Hector & G I am so sorry for the lost of you mom.. Maria was and always will be in our hearts. I've known you guys since the age of 4 and now I am a woman at the age of 26.. There's 22 years of memories stored within me. My prayers and love goes out to you and your loved ones. Always remember that she is in better hands.. I love you guys all dearly..
