Marie Rose Lambert

Marie Rose (LaChance) Lambert, 85, of Hartford, formerly of Newington for 36 years, beloved wife of the late Philippe Lambert, died on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at Avery Heights. She was born in Canada to a large family of the late Onesime and Auroy (Poulin) LaChance. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Newington and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. A loving mother and grandmother, Marie adored her family and they were everything to her. She loved taking care of everyone and fed them well with her flair for cooking. Occasional nights out to play BINGO were always a fun time for her. Left to mourn her passing are her children: Marc Lambert of E. Hampton and Linda Lambert of Wolcott; grandchildren: Matthew, Christopher and Michael France and Jason, William and Elizabeth Lambert; sisters: Rita Martin, Rollande Drapeau, Simone Poulin, Gaetane Bilodeau and Jeannine LaChance; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marie was predeceased by her brothers and sister: Aureliem LaChance, Henry Louie LaChance, Clement LaChance and Gracia Aube; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Lambert. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, Dec. 27th at 9:00 a.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Newington. She will be laid to rest in West Meadow Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newington Memorial.
