Mark was known to many as (Markie Mark) or (Big Mark). Mark retired from the MDC and enjoyed his time working for them. Besides his wife he leaves his wonderful son Andrew and daughter Lindsay both of Manchester. His father Thomas Wilenski and his wife Beatrice of South Windsor and Clearwater FL. The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at UCONN Health, Masonicare and Hebrew Home and Health for their compassionate and excellent care they provided. I'd like to express my sympathy to the family. I just learned of Mark's passing and was sad I couldn't be there for the service. I started at the MDC when I was 50 and Mark was my foreman. We had a great relationship at work. He went out of his way to show my son and I all the fishing spots on the CT river. It wasn't long after he was diagnosed with cancer. His sick time was running out and I couldn't believe the response of his co-workers who gave up vacation time for him. That's how well he was liked.

Mark was my cousin. He was a wonderful man with a contagious smile. I have several fond memories of fishing with Mark as a child. I know Mark is at peace now on the still waters above. My condolences to his family.
