Mary Agnes Fleming

Mary Agnes Fleming of West Hartford, died April 8, 2023. With a heavy heart we share the unexpected passing of our beloved mother, nana, sister and friend. Mary, known as Aggie to many, was a lifelong educator who enjoyed time with family and friends and giving back to her community. She was perhaps at her happiest while spending quality time with loved ones along the shores of the Atlantic ocean. Mary Agnes was predeceased by her mother Catherine Virginia Smith, from Hancock, MD and father Robert Anderson, from Troy, NY. Her sister Sarah Catherine Lyons and brother John Lawrence Anderson also passed too soon. She is survived by her two brothers Robert Anderson of Newark, DE, and George Joseph Anderson of Liverpool, NY. She is also survived by her three children Jennifer Fleming Ream and Christopher Joseph Fleming of Lafayette, CO, and Catherine Virginia Fleming of West Hartford, CT. She was well loved and is greatly missed. Services will be held at St John's Catholic Church in Old Saybrook, CT on October 14th, 2023, at 1 PM.
