Cora Rogers Obituary
She married James Rogers in Groton Feb. 23, 1980.
Cora worked as an administrative secretary for 31 years at Electric Boat Company retiring in 2006.
She had been a member of the National Honor Society. She also was a member and past president of the Emblem Club at the Groton Lodge of Elks.
A Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at the Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames Street. Visiting hours will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic. Donations in her memory may be directed to the Connecticut Humane Society.
