Mary LaPenta Obituary

LaPENTA, Mary Louise Mary Louise LaPenta, 81, of West Hartford, passed away Friday (January 18, 2008). She was born May 20, 1926 in Hartford the daughter of the late James and Mary Jane (Valluzzie) LaPenta and had lived in the area all of her life. Prior to her retirement Mary had been employed for many years at St. Francis Hospital. She is survived by two sisters, Rose LaPenta of West Hartford and Madeline Lanzano of Bolton, and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a brother Anthony LaPenta and two sisters Theresa Pandolfi and Jennie LaPenta. Funeral services will leave Tuesday January 22nd at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Claver Church, West Hartford. Burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel. For on-line expressions of sympathy please visit www.desopo.com.
