Mary Monnes, 91, of Cromwell, wife of the late Bernard J. Monnes, Sr., died Monday October 22, 2018 at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in Middletown, daughter of Arnold and Agnes (Pritchard) Bailey. Mary is survived by her sons, Bernard Monnes, Jr. and his wife Donna of Cromwell, James Monnes and his wife Catherine of Durham, Craig Monnes and his wife Colleen of Cromwell, Gerald Monnes and his wife Donna of South Windsor, sister Patricia Whitney of Cromwell, three grandchildren, Nicole, Andrea and Jason, a special niece, Lisa and nephew, Dwight Davis, Jr., and her caretaker, Arencha Banks. Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. John Church, 5 St. John's Ct., Cromwell. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Middletown. There are no calling hours.
