Mary Erin Parker

Mary Erin McGuigan Parker, 41, passed away on May 16, 2017. She was the wife of Leland Edward Parker. Erin was born in New Britain on January 30, 1976 to Austin and Joan (Collins) McGuigan. Erin attended the Westminster School, University of Vermont, University of Connecticut and Quinnipiac University where she graduated with her Master's in Health Science and became board certified as a Physician's Assistant. She was a PA at Hartford Hospital for 8 years. Erin was actively involved with the PTO at John Trumbull Primary School. She was an EMT and a member of the National Ski Patrol. She was an avid runner and ran collegiately at UVM. In addition to her husband, Lee and her parents, Austin and Joan, Erin was survived by her two daughters; Eibhlin Walsh and Maibel Tobin Parker, her sister Kerry Hoffman and her brother Ryan McGuigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South Street, Litchfield, CT 06759. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
