PELUSO, Mary Ingari (Cersosimo)
Mary Ingari (Cersosimo) Peluso, 78, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 8, 2012 at her home in Boca Raton, FL of complications from Parkinson's Disease. Mary was born July 31, 1933, in Siracusa, Sicily, the daughter of Santo and Lucia Ingari. The family immigrated to the Hartford area in 1936 where Mary graduated from Bulkeley High School. She enjoyed an early career at The Hartford Insurance Group and in 1952 married Frank Cersosimo (deceased), with whom she had three children. Relocating to Cape Cod in 1968, Mary wed Charles S. Peluso in 1971. Mary became an active member of the Hyannis Lodge of the Emblem Club and was eventually elected President. In the early 1990's she and Charles moved to Boca Raton, FL. Mary was a devoted wife and incredible Mom to her three children. She touched all who met her and was a true friend. Mary is survived by her husband Charles; her children Mark Cersosimo of Port St. Lucie, FL, Caron Cersosimo and partner Joanne Schmidt of Coral Springs, FL, Kristen Kosofsky and her husband, Dr. Eric Kosofsky of Avon. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Kyle and Jillian Kosofsky and Carrie Schmidt of Coral Springs, FL.
Mom, thank you for helping us all through the journey of life and may the Lord guide you through your new journey. You will be in our hearts, always.

I knew Mary when she lived in Cape Cod. She was a lovely woman, had a great personality. She sang at my son's wedding, and what a voice. She will be missed

My memories of Auntie Mary are all of times laughing together--she could get down to a kid's level and make you feel special. I will always remember her that way...prayers to all who are grieving. With love,

Mary helped lead our Ingari family into a fully American life. I associate her with the Kennedy era and "Camelot"... she had that sense of youth, beauty, and love of life I remember from those more innocent days. I loved her sense of humor and irrepressible smile.

Mom -- you have always been my bright star; now you're heaven's. And that's OK....you taught me to share. But let that not blind you to thinking I don't still need you. I do. I will always. I feel you with me more as the days move forward with your absence, and even in that absence, your warmth and smile and loving touch hold me and wrap me in your love. Thank you again for my life, and opening, always, your heart to/for me......thank you for everything. I love you....more......that's all I've got for ya......xoxo - Your Care....
