Melody Reese Obituary
Melody Gail Reese, 54, of Vernon, CT; passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 22, 2016. Born June 21, 1961 in Hartford, CT, she was a daughter to Doris D. (Reed) Hewko and the late John L. Reese. She served our country proudly with the U.S. Air Force. In addition to her mother, Doris, she is survived by her twin sister Maureen Fox, and sisters Diane White and Mary Reese. She also leaves her brothers John Jr., Mark, Robert and Gene Reese; Godson Jamie Audet; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her father John, she was predeceased by her brothers Roger, Paul, James and Richard Reese. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Melody's name to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech Ctr., Rocky Hill, CT 06067. Hi Maureen, so time has gone by and I know how much you must miss your sister Melody. Remembering you and your mom and dad and siblings all those years ago. Lots of activity at your house! Your dad and my dad were buddies. Both delivery guys. Both big families but yours was certainly a lot bigger. We lost my mom, Helen Monahan in October 2021. I´m sure our loved ones are all together in a place of beauty and peace. I hope you are well and your siblings too!

hello to the Reese family. So deeply sorry to hear of Melody's passing. My mom is Helen Monahan and she resides now in Wethersfield. She saw Melody's obituary and was very sad to hear of her passing. I thought I would reach out to you and to your mom, Doris, as my mom would very much like to reach out to her. my siblings and I used to visit your family when we were kids.
