Michael Alexander Davis Jr. of New Britain, Connecticut, was born on September 19, 1984 in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies to Michael Alexander Davis Sr. and Norma Mohamed Patterson. He was affectionately known by his family and close friends as "Popsy ". Michael transcended on June 30, 2021 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York. Michael graduated from New Britain High School, received a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Connecticut State University and continued on to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Like his father, Michael had an entrepreneurial spirit and like his mother, Michael was a hard working professional. He worked as a legal associate at The Freeman Law Firm, in Hartford, Connecticut for the last 7 years. He is survived by his parents and children; son Michael A. Davis III, daughter Breighlyn Davis, brother Princeton W. Patterson. He is also loved by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by grandparents George & Kelorah Davis and Kenneth & Ethel Mohamed. Michael was a warm, kind, gentle, giving, loving young man with an infectious smile. Let us remember his warm heart and spirit with dignity and honor. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9 at 12 PM at the First Church of Christ, 830 Corbin Ave., New Britain. Burial will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Friday morning, from 10 AM until the time of the service at church.
