Michael J. Thibodeau

THIBODEAU, Michael J. Michael J. Thibodeau, 52, beloved husband of Charline (Coombs) Thibodeau, of South Windsor died Friday, (March 25, 2005) at Manchester Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Hartford on January 8, 1953 son of Angelina (Beaulieu) Thibodeau of Willington and the late H. Claude Thibodeau. Mr. Thibodeau received his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and was a computer programmer at St. Paul Travelers Insurance Company, Hartford. Mike played on the volleyball and softball teams at work and also enjoyed sharing time with family, building models, reading, playing volleyball, softball, travel and the theater. Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two sisters, Carmella and her husband, Russell Upton, Jr. of Willington, and Theresa and her husband, Ronald Roy of Stafford Springs; two brothers, Paul and his wife, Diane Thibodeau of Manchester, and Normand and his wife, Debra Thibodeau of East Haddam; his father-in-law, George and his wife, Linda Coombs of Thompson, ME; his mother-in-law, Rita Thibeault of New Britain; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Gail Coombs of New Britain, Sandra Pallonari and Chris Griffin of Coral Springs, FL and Gerald and his wife, Elaine Coombs of New Britain; several nieces, nephews (two nieces and nephews also are godchildren), as well as grandnieces and grandnephews. Family and friends may gather, Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., in St. Margaret Mary Church, South Windsor. Burial will be in Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor. His family will receive friends, Tuesday from 5-8 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home.
