DAVIS, Micheal Andre
Micheal Andre Davis, "Mike", 33, of Manchester, died on Sunday, (October 9, 2011). He was the son of Mitchel A. Davis Sr. and Wanda Davis-Barbarin. Micheal received his High School diploma from New Haven, CT. After working under his father and uncles as a carpenter apprentice he became an invaluable sub contractor for his family. Micheal is survived by his son, Thaddeus Davis (his mother Sashie Ricks); three brothers, Mitchel A. Davis Jr. (Kim) of East Hartford, Gemal A. Davis of Manchester, and Cyr Eugene (Jodi)of New Orleans, LA, a sister, Dawn Danko (Lawrence Phillips) of Narragansett, RI; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Geraldine Davis of Bloomfield, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Audrey R. Barbarin of New Orleans, LA; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Mr. Lincoln J. Davis Sr., his maternal grandfather Mr. Fredrick F. Barbarin Sr., an uncle, Meastro Davis, an aunt Sylvia Barbarin, and a cousin, Toron Davis.
Funeral Service will be Friday, October 21, 10 a.m., with calling hour Thursday, October 20, 6-8 p.m. at Fuqua Funeral Service, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield, CT. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Colchester, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for Thaddeus Davis may be sent in c/o Bank of America, 354 W. Middle Turnpike, Manchester, CT 06040. Attn: Connie Gansziniec.

Hey Up There!
We miss you dearly. Where do I start, Thaddeus is so tall! He´s your twin for sure. I know you´ve seen my mom up there and I know you both are laughing and having fun together! Thaddeus is 17 now and he´s a senior in high school this year. He´s doing amazing. He´s into Real Estate. He has a part time job. He wears hoodies in the summer LOL. He likes to lift weights like you did. He raps like you did and he can also sing like you did! I know you would be so proud of our boi. So much more to say but I´ll talk to you in prayer! The world has changed so much and I wish you were here. We love you forever!

Cousin! You were on my mind and I realized its Oct.. almost the exact date. I miss you. We're getting ready for our 1st . Second generation Davis gathering in...you guessed it Houston. Hey Mike, I just wanted to say I can't believe your gone.... I just keep waiting for you to show up to pick up Sash & Thaddeus from my house. I will always remeber you as well as Xavier, He misses his uncle Mike!! I will never forget how energtic and vibrant you were, always telling me to cheer up and smile. I'm very saddend because you will not get the chance to meet my daughter Piper,but I know you'll see her from heaven and I will tell her all about her uncle Mike. To My Nephew Micheal, I will always love and cherish the wonderful memories we've shared over the years. It's so sad that you were taken so tragically from us. To the davis family, I am so sorry for your loss and I send out my deepest condolences to your family. I just want to say that even though we were miles apart you were always in our hearts and prayers. So many happy memories of you living in New Orleans that will never be forgotten.
