Mirjan Tollis Obituary

Mirjan Savino Tollis (known affectionately to her friends as Hilda), passed away peacefully in Arizona on Monday, May 6 at the age of 83.Hilda is survived by her five sons and daughters-in-law, Marco and Terry Tollis of Arizona, Salvatore Tollis of Georgia , Alexander and Anna Tollis of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, John and Angela Tollis of Canton, Connecticut, and Benito and Elizabeth Tollis of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, She was the loving grandmother of Dylan, Tyler, Alexa, Tommaso, Tia, Matthew, Mia, Amanda, and Brady. She also leaves her great grandchildren Brooklyn, Malachai and Jivanni. She was predeceased by her husband Giovanni Tollis and her granddaughter Melissa Tollis. She also leaves numerous siblings, nieces and nephews in Venezuela. Hilda was born on December 21, 1935 in Caracas, Venezuela to her parents Benito and Patricia, before moving to Italy then Connecticut. She was a dedicated CNA for 44 years at Elm Hill Nursing Home/Apple Rehab helping numerous patients over the years and being inducted into the CNA Hall of Fame in 2007. All services will be private.
