Myron Cobb Obituary

Myron Raymond Cobb, 73, of Columbia, CT, passed away April 15th, 2014. Myron was born in Columbia, CT, December 19th, 1940, to the late Raymond and Mabel Cobb. Myron graduated from Windham High School and earned his high school diploma. Ronnie, as we knew him, worked in farming and construction. He was a talented woodworker and avid sportsman who enjoyed playing hockey, baseball, and waterskiing in his early years. His favorite activities were rooting for his daughters' and grandsons' sports teams, horse racing, and following the UCONN Huskies. He was survived by daughters: Kristin Cobb of Columbia, CT; Amanda Peterson of Myrtle Beach SC; and his grandchildren: Cadin West, Bryan Peterson, and Jacob Peterson. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Meals on Wheels. Funeral arrangements will be announced.

These 11 years later of Ron's passing I still remember our friendship and
playing baseball together. He sure could flag down those fly balls to
center field. I never did know the reason of his passing.
Thank you Sally Ann of the remembering.

To the Cobb family,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Ronny. I will always remember him working around the farm and also watching baseball with him when I was small on New Year's Day. I can still hear his laugh.

I am so sorry for your loss,

Sally Ann Johnson (Ronny's first cousin)
