MERRITT, Nancy Elizabeth
Nancy Elizabeth Merritt 98, of Bloomfield passed away Monday, (October 4, 2011). She was born August 22, 1913 in Littleton, NC. to the late Vernon and Josephine Batchelor. She is survived by her daughter, Susie (William) Sledge of Bloomfield, a sister, Pearline Hardiman of Hampton, VA, 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Calling hour will be Friday, (October 7) 11 a.m. at Fuqua Funeral Service's Chapel, 94 Granby St. Bloomfield, CT. Burial will be private at the request of the family. For online condolences visit www.henrylfuquafuneralservice.com.

We visited Miss Nancy many times at the Wintonbury facility. I loved her kindness and joy. We sang and prayed and laughed alot. She loved the big yellow dog that I would bring to see her. We will really miss her. Our sympathy is with you all, God Bless,
