Nancy Stolfi Obituary

STOLFI, Nancy Ann (Lane) Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Nancy Ann (Lane) Stolfi of Wolcott passed peacefully on Sunday (December 9, 2007) after a long courageous fight with cancer. She was the wife of Stuart Stolfi. Nancy was born April 23, 1946 in Meriden, daughter of Viola (Newman) Lane of Middletown and the late Daniel Lane, Sr. After receiving her A.S. degree from NVCC, Nancy spent several years as a substitute teacher, while obtaining a BS from SCSU. She served on the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut Community College System. Besides her beloved husband of 37 years, she is survived by her son, Michael, her daughter, Shelley, her sister, Danica Evans of Southington, her brothers, Paul Lane of Groton and Aubrey Lane of Waterford. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
