Lori, I now work at the Hartford Police Department (crazy how things work out) and I met Norm when he would come to pick up evidence for whichever case he was working on for the court. Great guy and always a pleasure to talk to. I wish I had known that you guys were married. I am so sorry for your loss and wish we could have been at the service. Vicki sends her love and condolences. Tim Huffman.

What more can I say other then I had the great privledge of working along side of him in the traffic Division assigned to the motor cycle unit. We both formed a close working relationship while assigned to the downtown area together. Our detail was to clean up Main street from all whom at that time preyed on the elderly men and women who loved to come into Hartford ,to shop and have lunch in the old department stores which had lined Main street from Asylum to Church street. With in a short time with having Norm as a partner the Isle of safety and the robberies, purse snatchings and larcenies that were occurring in the downtown business district came to an abrupt stop after making numerous arrests. Norm became a good friend along with being a great mentor to me as a Hartford Police Officer. I will miss you friend,Job well done.

Norman was a great friend and coworker. I'll never forget all of those positive qualities that made him one of the police officers who I truly admired.
