Pamela JOHNS Obituary

JOHNS, Pamela (Dichner) Pamela "Pam" (Dichner) Johns, 60, of East Hartford and formerly of Windsor, died tragically on Thursday, (November 25, 2010). Born in Hartford on September 16, 1950, a daughter of Alma (Polman) Dichner of Windsor and the late Al Dichner, she had resided in the Greater Hartford area for most of her life. Pam was a 1969 graduate of Weaver High School in Hartford. She was an avid reader, animal lover, beach enthusiast especially in Florida, and a nature lover. However, Pam will be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness and being a proud grandmother to her two special grandchildren. Along with her father she was predeceased by her husband, Gregory Johns. Besides her mother, Pam is survived her son, Edward "Mike" Tillotson and his wife, Tammy, of East Hartford; two adored grandchildren, Alyssa Tillotson and Michael Tillotson both of East Hartford; a sister, Iris Dichner of Windsor; and several dear friends. A memorial service will be Friday (December 3rd) at 11 a.m. at the D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
