Patrocinio Ortola Obituary



Patrocinio (Santamaria) Ortola, 89, of New Britain, widow of Rafael Ortola passed away on July 7 at her son's home in Coco, Florida. Born in Pego Alicante Spain, daughter of Enrique and Patrocinio Santamaria. She came from Spain with her husband and her two sons in 1960. She was a seamstress and a loving mother. She was a member of St. Ann Church of New Britain. Her greatest love was her family and friends. She loved cooking and socialling with her friends and family who also came from Spain. She is survived by her two sons, Henry Ortola and his wife Therese Ortola of Kensington CT; her other son Rafael P. Ortola of Coco, Florida. Her granddaughter Danielle Messier and her husband Michael Messier of Ellington CT; Sister-in-law Rosita Alcina of Melborne Florida and her husband two cousins Eleanor and Viola. Her funeral was held at St. Mary's Church in Coco Florida on July 13, with family and friends. Her burial service will be held at a later day at the same time with her late husband in Pego, Spain.
