My name is Carol DeVin Jedan and I learned of this through Rene Oscar Devin, a recently found "cousin", through my genealogy search.
It seems that Paul was a talented and extremely loved man. I'm sure he will be missed by many family and friends.
My best to you all, Carol J

I am so sorry for your loss. I know the sadness is difficult now, but hopefully you'll soon be filled with the memories of all the happy times you had with Paul. Our mutual relative Rene (Florida) told me about John's passing. You don't know me, but I'm a long-lost cousin in Portland, Oregon. Pat Terho

Mrs. Devin and Family - My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of meeting Paul before he became ill, but after spending some time with the family, hearing Doug talk about his dad, and seeing what a great gardener and handyman Doug has become, it's clear that he was a wonderful man who enjoyed spending time with his family and teaching them some great lessons and crafts - so he certainly lives on in spirit. My sincere sympathies go out to all of you. Reminisce about the wonderful memories he has left you with -they are yours to cherish and comfort you for years to come!

Words cannot describe how sorry my wife and I are of your loss. Even as far back as my childhood I can remember Uncle Paul being a genuinely caring and friendly person with a heart of gold. He will truly be missed by all that came to know him.

Aunt Lucy, please accept my sympathy and know that my thoughts are with you and my cousins. I hold special memories of those family gatherings at your home when I was a kid. I am so glad that I was able to visit with you and uncle Paul when I ate most of your brownies while listening (but not participating) in a political discussion between him and my dad. I'm sorry I can not be there, but I know you have a tight family who will help you during your time of need.
