Paul Feld Obituary

Paul J. Feld, 74, of Enfield, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Born in Hartford, CT on February 28, 1949, he was the son of the late Lester and Anne (Pawelcik) Feld and lived in Enfield most of his life. Paul was a very quick-witted, ingenious jack of all trades. He could fix just about anything, most times better than it originally was. He was a master carpenter, fantastic cook, and the king of deadpan sarcasm. He graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in Culinary Arts and used it well. He loved his family, his dogs, and great music. He was always cracking jokes, singing along to songs off key or purposely mispronouncing words or phrases to get a laugh. He loved holding court on the back porch during weekly Sunday suppers where friends and family would almost always stop by to enjoy good food, drink and conversation. He also loved throwing big parties where he served up his famous "Big Daddy burgers" amongst many other specialties. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia (Rontey) Feld, and 2 siblings, Leslee Anne Yuodis and Orrin Wonn Feld. He leaves 3 children, Jonathan Feld and his wife Jennifer Martin, Sarah Williamson and her husband Andrew, and Christopher Feld, he also leaves his grandson, Sebastian Feld; and his sister, Judith Louisa Feld all of Enfield. A gathering will be held in his honor at a date and time to be announced. Raise em' high for this legend.
