Paul Noury Obituary



Paul H. Noury, 77 of Whigham, GA, husband of Carol (Akerman) Noury, passed away Friday (June 19, 2015) at his home in Georgia. Born in Manchester, NH, son of the late Henry and Cora Noury, he was a former New Britain resident, moving to Georgia in 1995. Paul served with the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was in Facilities Management at the Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Georgia until his retirement. Besides his wife Carol, he leaves two sons, Paul Noury and his life partner Edward Grzes of New Britain; and Dennis Noury of Southington; a daughter, Lisa Davis and her husband Peter of New Britain; a step son, John Lynch of Greenbelt, MD; a sister, Irene Gordon of New Britain; six grandchildren, Ashley Noury and her fiancé, Mike Cook of Wethersfield; Ryan and Kyle Noury, both of Southington; Hope, Jacob and Joshua Davis, all of New Britain; a great granddaughter, Carter Cook; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Sadie. A Memorial service will be held Saturday (June 27) 11 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Double H Ranch (a free camp for children with serious illnesses and disabilities), 97 Hidden Valley Road, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846.
