Pauline Guzick

Pauline (Sullivan) Guzick, 77, of West Hartford died unexpectedly, Friday (August 24, 2001) at Hartford Hospital. She was born and raised in Iowa and had lived for a brief time in Washington, DC prior to moving to West Hartford over 50 years ago. Pauline had been employed in the Registrar's Office at the former Greater Hartford Community College prior to her retirement and was a communicant of St. Mark the Evangelist Church, West Hartford. Pauline is survived by her children and their spouses, Frederic Guzick of West Hartford, Glenda and Daniel Fournier of West Hartford, Ralph Guzick of Windsor, Gayle Keene of Bloomfield, Lila and Michael Guillet of West Hartford, Janelle and Gary Lemire of West Hartford and Marlene Silvis of Somers; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Kathleen Sullivan of Charles City, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was the best mother and grandmother in the world, devoting her entire life helping everyone and was admired and adored by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. The funeral procession will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Mark the Evangelist. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be TODAY from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
