Pauline St. John Obituary

Pauline Ann St. John, 83, of Belleview, FL, and formerly of Forestville, widow of Armand St. John, died Thursday, (January 30, 2003) at home. Pauline was born December 18, 1919, in Alburg, VT, a daughter of the late Walter and Jennie (Boutah) McNeil. Pauline moved from Bristol to Florida in 1993. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and babysitting for her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Matthew Church in Forestville. Her survivors include two daughters, Betty Jean Laviero of Bristol, and Mary Ellen St. John of Belleview, FL; two sons-in-law, Andrew "Jay" Laviero of Bristol, and Richard Peters of Arizona; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Peters, two brothers, Ward and Robert McNeil, a sister, Gladys Hazen and a granddaughter, Tina. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 4, 9 a.m. from the O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Avenue, Forestville, to St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492-1822, or the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Avenue, Meriden, CT 06450.
