Ann, athough I am unable to attend Pete's service I want you to know how sad I was to hear of his passing. One of a kind and one of the kindest person I will ever know. My dad thought so much of Pete and I know the feeling was mutual. I have some pictures when you visited my parents camping and I will get them to you soon. Rick

Dear Ann, Lisa and Kevin;
Our family was sadden to hear of your loss. Dad and I saw Peter over the winter and as always he was the positive about everything that was going on. He had a great outlook on sports when he played softball with his competiveness, aggressiveness and love of the game. While growing up playing sports, and being a virtual resident of the Rival household for many years I got a chance to know and learn from one of the funniest, most influential people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. He was wise to the ways of the world, and ALWAYS knew how to put things into perspective. Pete's memory will live strong within all of us who knew him. My thoughts are with all of you. Love you guys.

To the entire Rival Family, the Cromwell Callahan's send their love and prayers to all of you. I always thought of Pete as one of my brothers, and in Uncle Dick's eyes he was a son. When they built Peter Rival they broke the mold. I was so greatful that I was able to visit him on Friday, and will hold that visit close to me heart.
