Peter J. Sayadoff

SAYADOFF, Peter J. Peter J. Sayadoff, 78, beloved husband of Elaine Sayadoff, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, (December 19, 2007) at his home. Mr. Sayadoff was born on August 12, 1929, and was the son of the late Esther and Isaac Sayadoff. He established Peter J. Sayadoff, Inc. over 50 years ago and was actively involved in the business until his passing. He was a Korean War veteran with the 43rd National Guard. Mr. Sayadoff was devoted to his family and the Boston Red Sox. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters-in-law, Marion Sayadoff and Marie Shuster; many beloved nieces and nephews, especially the "two geniuses," Debbie and Lynn; and his dog Baxter. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel, his sister Lillian Donatelli, and his brother-in-law Anthony Donatelli. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 22, at 10 a,m. at The Church of St. Timothy, 1116 North Main St., West Hartford. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be held TODAY, 4-7 p.m. at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 136 South Main St., West Hartford.
