Philip J. Duerr

DUERR, Philip J. Philip J. Duerr, 25, of Town Walk Avenue, Hamden, died Wednesday (November 19, 2008). He was born November 12, 1983 in Danbury, CT son of Karl W. and Gail (Tangredi) Duerr of Canton, CT. Philip was a graduate of Cheshire High School, Class of 2002, and was on their championship Marching Ram Band. He was a graduate of Quinnipiac University, Class of 2006, he received his Bachelors Degree in Communications, was on the Dean's List and a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, Kappa Psi Chapter. Philip was an Associate Technical Producer at ESPN in Bristol, CT. Along with his parents he is survived by his sister, Danielle M. Duerr of Yarmouthport, MA; his maternal grandmother, Edith Tangredi of Yorktown Heights, NY; his paternal grandmother, Shirley M. December of Cheshire, CT; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT on Sunday, November 23, 1-4 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
