It seems just like yesterday that I worked for Phil Kennedy and he was one of the nicest bosses I ever had at Eveready. To this day I stop and smell the roses just like he told me to do and if I am with someone, I tell them that my boss told me that no matter what I am doing in life, to always stop and smell the roses. I will never forget that. He will always be remembered. Sincerely, Chris

I dont know if anyone from his Family will see this since it is so late.
I just heard today that Phil Kennedy has passed away last year. I was his administrative secretary when he worked for Eveready Battery in Danbury, CT. He would always tell me that no matter what I was doing in life to always stop and smell the roses and when I see my rose bush bloom in the Spring, I think of him saying that to me. I asked a friend of mine today, I wonder where Phil Kennedy is now and she found his obituary on line and sent it to me. I am so sorry and send my condolences to his Family. I will always remember him when I look at my roses. He was a wonderful person.

My uncle Bud, A good man with a steady hand always an attentive ear, an example and a role model, and an inspiration. We kids remember Marilyn and Bud at holidays at Grandpa Heavey's. We will just have to carry on. Psalm 145:18 tells us "He is near to those who call him" My condolences to friends and family. In time of need I will call on uncle bud with the fondest of memories.

To Janet & family: We are so sorry that your beloved Dad and Grandfather has passed. What an amazing life he lived! It is inspiring that he accomplished so much, from serving in the Army, to getting his college degree, to an outstanding career and to raising a beautiful family. Given the energy and persistence this took, it seems fitting that the iconic Energizer Bunny first appeared in 1989 during his tenure as President & COO of the Eveready Battery Company. And as a momentous marketing decision he most likely signed off on, this gives us a taste of his obvious intelligence & good judgment. I know how fond of him Alex and Sophie were and they and his other grandchildren have a wonderful exemplar for their own lives. May God bless Philip and bring peace and comfort to his family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

With heartfelt sympathy to the family. May fond memories of your loved one comfort you at this time. Please consider Psalm 145:18, 19. May those words bring you some consolation and a small measure of peace.
