Rajiv Krishnan (25) of High Ridge Road, Avon, died unexpectedly on Thursday, (December 4, 2003) at Altea, Alicante, Spain. Born on April 6, 1978, Rajiv was the beloved son of Meera (Venkatesan) and Venkatachala (Kris) Krishnan, and brother to Rahul and Anita (Nikki) Krishnan. He is the grandson of the late PV Iyer and the late Thangam Iyer of Kolkata, India and Late Krishna Venkatesan of Jamshedpur and Lakshmi Venkatesan in California. In addition to his grand uncle Narayanan and aunt Visalam of Chennai, R K Iyer, Saraswathi Iyer and S K Aiyar in Mumbai, he leaves behind his uncles and aunts Ven and Lakshmi Padmanabhan, Sita Subramanian, Jothi and Kokila Purushotaman, Ganesh and Vasanthi, Visalam and N Padmanabha Iyer, Ramesh and Chandra Nageswaran, Pushpa and Ray MacFarlane and Bina Venkatesan and several cousins Ravi Iyer and family, Venkatesh and family, Usha Iyer and family, Rohan and Soni Nageswaran, Arun and Priya Padmanabhan, Ram Purushotaman, Resham and Suman McFarlane, Sunil and Rakesh Subramanian, Deepa and Divya Ganesh, and many extended family relatives and numerous friends around the world and many in Valencia and Altea, Spain. Rajiv had an unquenchable thirst for life, and brought fun and adventure with him throughout his residence in the United States, Singapore, Australia, Spain, and the numerous other countries he visited. He lived every day to the fullest, and encouraged those he loved to do the same. Though he may no longer be with us physically, he will remain in the hearts of those he touched and those whose lives he changed for the better. The cremation took place at Villajoyosa, Spain on December 5, 2003. The religious rites will be performed at Avon, CT in mid December, 2003.
