Dear Rena- There are no words to thank you for the love and kindness you gave to Ali, Jacqui and I. You and Les embraced us into your lives and your family and that I am so grateful for. I made you a promise that I intend to keep. Our holidays, backyard picnics and parties will never be the same without you. Thank you for being the best mother-in-law anyone could ask for. I will treasure our times spent together. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Ready or not, accepting or not, life comes to an end, But love does not. I know you will always be with us and we will miss you always.

I don't think I ever called Rena by her first name. She was always mom to me. She is a very special person and holds a very special place in my heart. She always went out of her way to know that I was ok whether it was some comforting advice or a big yummy chocolate chip cookie to tide me over until dinner time. I Love you very much and will never forget the times we were in the backyard soaking up some rays on the swing, or the times i would just pop over and you always had room for me at the dinner table. Smile down at us from heaven always. I promise to help your family through this difficult time.
Kristin, "Dad", and family, thank you for letting me be a part of your loving family. Love you forever, Jill

Rena - my sister and my best friend, I will cherish each and every moment we shared -the card playing/pajama parties, the big laughs camping with the limited bedroom space and running water, shopping and the zillion other things we did together. As I heard somewhere, I will try not to think of you with tears. I will laugh and talk to you as if you were by my side. I loved you. It was heaven on earth here with you. I'll think of you often.

Kristin- I am so very sorry for your family's loss. Rena was an absolutely wonderful person that will be missed by everyone she touched with her smile and caring ways. I remember when I was in high school I used to come over and Rena was always so welcoming and nice to us. Over the years I would occasionally pop over the house, and she would always welcome me in to visit no matter what was going on. Sometimes I would see her and Les walking up at the park and she just had this specialness about her that made you feel the same way. God has gained a bright eyed angel who will now watch over us. Again- I am so sorry for your loss. She is greatly missed. If you need anything, I am here for you and your family. Love- Catherine McClay and Family

We will all miss her beautiful smile...great laugh...and her huge heart. But all remember,

"When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain."
