Richard Albert hammer
July 27, 2024
Greetings:
My birth name is Richard Albert Hammer and I was also born in Hartford in 1944. during the five years employed at Huntington's Bookstore on Asylum Street, I read one of Mr. Hammer's books about the Vietnam War. I also had the pleasure of meeting his Father who noticed our names. While I've never written any books myself, I've a lifelong Admiration and Respect for those who have done so. This afternoon, in San Francisco where I've lived since 2007, I scrolled through death records looking for one of my paternal cousins and came upon this entry. Approaching my 80th Birthday which is on Election Day this year, I humbly acknowledge the Achievements of the other Richard Hammer and Pray that he Rest in Peace and Power.
Sincerely,
Richard Albert Hammer
