I remember Bob as a very bright and solid Systems Engineer for both IBM and later For Rolfe Associates, Inc. a MFG. Systems Consulting firm that I started in late 1968. I brought Bob in to add his "knowledge & experience" to our staff and use his Mfg. background with IBM, while we grew my firm. I did that with his participation on various projects. I had worked at the PWA Division of UTC building Systems for Shop Floor Control & Reporting Systems for 7 years, and knew Bob from that experience. He helped us build our corporate are "rep",and I grew our firm to 11 people initially as a base, and later to 42 professional Systems Associates, we then did work in Major Mfg. firms in 37 States of the U. S. Bob was a "guiding light" for our initial staff/people, our clients he worked for/with, and was a "true
professional." I sold the business, started Donovan Management Group in the Insurance Industry doing similar work for National Brokerage firms in the Info Systems areas and had "lost contact" with him. I'm sure he was successful in many new "adventures" and contributed to other people also. A truly solid citizen and a knowledgable person. Condolences to his family, and all who knew him well. John J. Donovan
