Robert Ballsieper Obituary
In addition to his wife Patricia, of 63 years this October, Robert is survived by daughter Robin Simpson, sons, Donald Ballsieper Sr., his wife Robin, and Peter Ballsieper, his wife Karen; brother William Ballsieper and his wife Lorraine. He also leaves his grandchildren, Donald Ballsieper Jr., his wife Kait, Travis Simpson, his wife Kelly, Cheyenne (Ballsieper) Naef, her husband Tyler, Sierra Ballsieper, and Shania Ballsieper. Robert also had 4 great grandchildren Braxton, Blake, Lucas, and Adeline Mae. He is predeceased by his parents as well as his sister Paula Ballsieper and son-in-law Steven Simpson.
Robert was a proud veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army from 1959 to his honorable discharge in 1964. Following his military service Robert was employed by Pratt & Whitney, retiring after over 40 years. Bob enjoyed being creative with hand building replicas of model Fighter Jets and wood model museum quality ships from the 1600s and 1700s, which took years to build, and are now proudly displayed by his children. One of Bobs greatest pleasures was cheering for the New York Yankees and singing and dancing to Johnny Cash and George Jones. Bob was known by friends and family for his quick wit and fun sense of humor.
Friends and relatives are welcome to join the family for calling hours on Saturday, October 7th at Holmes & Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St, Manchester from 9:00am to 10:30am.
