"Best Pal",thanks for everything we did and shared from the "Whale to the Pub" and all the other joints. You were and will always be my best friend, although I know you were a best friend to many others. Hey, I saw that you had a note from JC, back in the days on Hawthorn St.

Love you Pal, "Blue Eyes"

Bert, from the wild nights at Piggy's to the wilder nights at the Pub and all the stops in between I enjoyed the rides we had together. You were a Prince among men and will be missed. My condolences to all of your family. Mikey

May the God of peace give you comfort during this time of sorrow

Michelle,Andrea and Jo-Ell: Even though I have only met "bert" a few times, his kindness was unforgetable. He hugged me just like I was Jo-Ell's sister. And of course James and Bert were bonded for life after the ride home from Jo-Ell's rehearsal dinner. Do you know they were actually planning to drive to NY that night from Philly? I know you aren't surprised because that's just how he was; living life to the fullest. My family is praying for you and your family that you may have a peace that passes understanding, and that your memories of a loving dad give you the strength to make it through.
