One year later Rob came to mind wondering how he was doing .
I was shocked to find through a Google search he passed. My sincere condolences.
My relationship was brief with Rob. The years 74 -78.
I grew up in Meriden we had mutual friends to include Doug White.
We met at the Employment office in Meriden. In fact he got a job as a DEVOP .I worked for the state as an interviewer a few years. I am also a Vietnam disabled veteran. We went to Blackeyed Sallies up in Hartford a couple times. When I got married he gave me a recliner for a wedding gift.
We lost touch soon after that. But his memory and positive effect in my life left a great impact. He helped set me on a non destructive path. I never forgot him.
I´m sure the memorial services have long past, would love to have shown my respect. But his memory lives on.

Jesus Christ gave us The Way, Rob told it the best ...
Luke 17:
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” 14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. 15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. 17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
Rob followed The Way. G od Speed to you Rob and may G od continue to Bless your Family.

Hey Rob, you've taught and blessed many by your life example of giving to others. I remember when you came to me to help with a tragedy in my life and thru that I was able to be there to help others . Rob, I remember that dark day in 1995 when you said hello to me and helped change my life, asking for nothing in return but to give freely when the opportunity arose and sometimes we have to go find one you'd say. Whatever the situation you would always arise, doing God's work for others on earth like it was a walk in the park. Leader, servant, mentor, soldier, truly a great friend to many are just a few of the very many hat's your wore incredibly well. May you rest in heaven and your compassionate work on this earth be an motivating example for many to what we can do for other's with courage and selfless service.
