Robert Murray Obituary
MURRAY, Robert Erwin Robert Erwin Murray, 77, of Lake Oswego, OR, passed away on Sunday (March 21, 2004). Robert was born in Bridgeport on May 6, 1926. He was raised and educated in Bridgeport and was a graduate of Harding High School and Bridgeport Engineering Institute. He served in the U.S. Airforce during World War II. He worked as a Vice President of Dictaphone Corp. in Bridgeport and as President of Bussman Fuse Corp. in St. Louis, MO. He retired in 1991, moving to Lake Oswego, OR in 1996. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Oswego, OR. Robert is survived by his wife Georgette (Pulley) Murray of Lake Oswego, OR. They were married in 1950. Robert is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and William Place of Portland, OR; his sister, Rita Goulet of Milford; two grandchildren, Bryant and Mackenzie Place of Portland, OR. Funeral Mass was held on Saturday March 27, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Oswego, OR. Burial will be at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Riverview Abbey Funeral Home has care of arrangements, Portland, OR.
