Robert (Bob) Bruce Preston 67 of Manchester, Ct passed to eternal life on Monday December 28th at his home. Bob was born on July 22, 1953. He was the son of the late William S. & Elizabeth (Furphy) Preston. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Lee (Arsenault) Preston. Bob graduated from Howell Cheney Technical High School in Manchester, Ct. Bob went on to become a talented Tool & Die Maker and Machinist and had worked for Phillipes, Pratt & Whitney, Gerber Technology, Stanadyne, and several other UTC Companies in Ct. Bob then created his own business and was President of United Hydro Technologies & Research Corporations. He was a true craftsman and a leader in the industry. In addition to his wife, he will be dearly missed by his three children Bobbie Grace Preston–Ng and husband Henry of Winterville, NC, Robert D. Preston and his wife Sara B. of Bolton and Mark L. Preston of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Allyssa, Michael, Kyle, Nathan, Emily & Andrew (Andy); two great grandchildren Jaeden & Scarlet; two brothers William "Bill" Preston of Oklahoma & David Preston of Manchester; a sister Maria Nolan of Wilson, NC and several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. The family is asking all who wish to say their goodbyes to attend the graveside service that will be held on Tuesday Jan. 5th at 11 am in St. James Cemetery, 365 Broad St., Manchester. John F.
