SANTOS, Roberto
Roberto Santos, 76, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Cristina Colon, passed away on Wednesday (October 10, 2012). Born on June 7, 1936 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, he is the son of Casimira Ortega and the late Felix Santos. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he will be dearly missed by his family. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his eight devoted children, Ivan Santos and his wife Norma of Manchester, Moises Santos and his wife Damaris and Roberto Santos, all of Puerto Rico, Elianita Santos and her husband Sam of Wethersfield, Maria Santos, Sylvia Santos and her husband Enrique and Edilia Santos, all of Hartford and Rosalia Santos of East Hartford; six sisters; 15 adored grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Roberto's family would like to thank the staff at Park Place Health Center for all of their assistance.
Funeral services will begin on Monday at 9 a.m., Oct. 15, from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Anne-Immaculate Conception Church, 820 Park Street, Hartford. Burial with military honors will follow in the State Veterans' Cemetery, Middletown. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
