Dad/My Best Man
A year has now passed since I said "see you later" and it has no doubt been the hardest year of my life. Never knew how much I missed our talks together but I truly do, especially hearing how proud you are of us. I think about you multiple times a day whether I'm alone or driving back and forth to work listening to music that you would play. What I wouldn't give to hear you sing again and give you a hug and kiss. So many memories that make me sad, but also so proud that I'm your son. Life isn't and never will be the same without you, but know that I'm doing my best to carry on your memory.
You're truly one of a kind. I love and miss you so much!!

I am blessed to have had Uncle Ron in my life. He welcomed me into the family. I remember the first Christmas here away from my family, Uncle Ron and Aunt Fran made me feel at home and part of the family. Uncle Ron was there to help me find my first job out here. His smile, his warm embrace and encouraging words will be with me forever. There are few men like Uncle Ron and I am blessed to call him Uncle.

A New Year without you my love will be the biggest challenge of my life. Holidays will never be the same but my fond memories and our family will carry me through.
You were always my love, my music man, my gentle spirit and my fondest admirer. You will forever be the one and only love of my life.

I have so many childhood memories of my Uncle Ron. From watching him play his guitar and sing, Christmas Eve’s at Memere’s house, and when he and Aunt Fran would come visit my parents; these memories make my heart happy. I LOVED when he and Aunt Fran would come visit my parents! They’d all sit at the kitchen table and talk for hours. It was such a treat, and I truly looked forward to those visits.
I know my Uncle Ron is guiding his family and will continue to do so. Aunt Fran, Glenn, and Apryl, I pray for your comfort and peace. Please know that you’re in my prayers daily.

As I sit here this morning I am humbled and honored to read all these beautiful tributes. I was so blessed to have him as my father he was the best father a girl could have. He taught me key qualities for the human spirit faith, kindness, empathy and forgiveness. He demonstrated these throughout his whole life and I am so grateful that my sons had him as there example of how to be a good men,I see him in them everyday.
Dad now you, are my sun shine and when the sun touches my face I know it is you.
Merry Christmas Daddy❤

My Dad/ My Best Man/ My Hero!! During the time leading up to my wedding I would be asked "Who did you choose to be your best man?" I would proudly reply " My Dad." At times the reply back would be, "Don't often hear about a Dad being his son's best man". Again, I would proudly reply, "If you had my dad as your father, you would choose him too!" My dad was the most selfless person I knew and am sure that many family members and friends would say the same. My dad would never hesitate to help family members and friends at a moments notice. He was so dedicated to providing the best for my Mom, my sister and myself, working countless hours during the week and making sure the weekends were dedicated to FAMILY! The visits with other family and traveling to his band jobs on weekends are just some of the great memories I have of my childhood. My dad was a great musician and boy did he love to perform, always the life of the party at public and family gatherings! After he stopped playing in his bands, he asked me to be his partner in a DJ business. We called ourselves "Generations DJ's" and performed at many social club halls and weddings. I loved spending that time with my dad traveling to and from these events, spending hours together and then listening to him telling me how proud he was of the husband and father I had become. I had the best example of both in my Dad and am so proud and honored to be his son. I know that he's with me and will guide me through the journey of life until it's my time to be taken home to the country roads and be together again. Keep playing that sweet music Dad! I miss and love you so much!!

My Brother Ron, my Dear Brother whom I loved so dearly. Ron was always there for me and my children. My dear brother Ron was a person everybody loved. He always had that big handsome smile on his face. He was the kindest person there could be. Ron loved to get together with friends and family. He loved music. He loved to be with everybody - he was a family man. Ron, you will always be with me in my heart and when I see you again we will never part. Til we meet again, Dear Brother, I love you. Love your sister Joanne.

I remember Uncle Ron saying he couldn’t watch the news anymore and instead enjoyed watching Touched by an Angel. How appropriate! The earth has definitely lost one of its angels and he will be missed by so many. Love to you all. -Caity

Ron was my brother in every way. He came into my family (full of life and love) when I was just 7 years old. I don’t really remember a time without him. He had the cleanest VWs of anyone ever. He was my father’s best friend. The humor and music and joy he brought to our family can never be measured.
My youngest daughter Abbey (Ayers) said of her Uncle Ron, “ When I walked into the room he was always so genuinely happy to see me. His love just filled the room”.
I know you will have a great journey, Brother and I will always cherish the gift of you.
Say hi from me to all the pickers.
Love + Peace Always,

I'm so very proud to call this man my Uncle Ron. He was such a thoughtful and caring brother to my mother, Joanne and an amazing Uncle to myself, my sister and my brother. We all loved to hear him sing and play his guitar...those are memories that will last a lifetime. There aren't enough words to describe how he will be missed. We love you. Uncle Ron, Aunt Fran, Glen and April and families. ❤

Ron and I go way back. He and I met in Lowell Mas while working for Wang Labs I was there or 16 years and Ron made it to 30 +years. Anyway, we just seemed to become good friends right away. We lived a good distance from each other (New York and Ct) but we kept in contact by phone quite often. We talked manny times on why and how our friendship kept going , but we really became very close friends. I will miss him a great deal and he was a very kind person. As like others have said he WAS a family man , That I am sure . Going forward I will miss him RIP Ron !

My condolences to the whole family. I was lucky enough to have seen first hand how much he loved his family and how much they loved him. He always made me feel as if I was apart of that family even though it had been years in between visits. I will forever see his smile and kind heart in his grandsons, Aaron and Brendon. Aprilyn and Fran if there is anything I can ever do don’t be afraid to reach out. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this all too familiar difficult time.
