Roy and I were best friends when he lived in Bristol during the late 1970s. When he moved back home in Simsbury, we lost track of each other. He did bring his father's Ford Wagon down to visit me a few times. I moved from place to place and that made it difficult to stay in touch. I always meant to call him to see how his life was going. I am sorry now that I didn't. I am so sorry that he died so young. We were the same age. May he forever rest in peace...
The Roy I knew was a great person. He was kind to everyone.

Sorry for your loss Jason and Justin Kearns. You guys had two great parents that were taking to soon. Before your dad was to sick he called to talk to me. He was proud of the both of you. May your Dad rest in peace as he's not suffering any more.

I've contacted Sue personally but to the rest of the family, I am so sorry and my heart is with you all. I'm blessed to have known Roy and the entire family and you've loved and cared for him so much... I had the immediate thought that he's no longer hurting in any way, he can do what he wants when he wants without earthly restriction and he's more free then he's been in a long time which is a beautiful thought. I hope you all find some kind of comfort during this time, I love you all. Rest easy Roy, you get to watch over your family now and keep them safe...
